Presentation box for The Balvenie Forty. During 2010 I began working with The Balvenie Distillery to design and make a presentation box for their new 40 year old single malt. The box is made in small batches in my workshop from solid oak, using a coopered construction method and then handcarved by John Chinnery. The Balvenie Forty was launched in the UK, to much acclaim, at the Victoria & Albert Museum during November 2011. www.thebalvenie.com |
